Server log files

E-mail subscription to receive Basilea’s press releases
You can subscribe to our press release newsletter, with which we inform you about current developments of the company. For the registration to this newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in process. During the registration process we collect your e-mail address and, if you decided to share with us voluntarily, your name, company/organization, classification (e.g. institutional investor, private investor, etc.), and country. We will use your e-mail address only to send Basilea’s press releases by e-mail. You can revoke your consent to receive the press releases and unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in every newsletter e-mail or via our corporate website at www.basilea.com/subscription. Personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. Therefore, your e-mail addresses and other personal data will be stored as long as your subscription to the newsletter will be active.
Basilea’s job application platform and job application process
The data provided by you via Basilea’s job application platform which includes – depending on whether you provide such data – your name, address, contact details, photo, gender, CV, education and skills, former employers, reference letters, salary expectations, citizenship, and other data provided by you, will be used by Basilea to evaluate your job application and, as the case may be, to enter into and administer the employer-employee relationship with you. For the application process, we use the services and application software of Personio SE & Co. KG, Germany.
The data will be processed by Personio SE & Co. KG, and stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Frankfurt, Germany (https://aws.amazon.com/de/compliance/gdpr-center/). Your data submitted during the application process will be deleted after 6 months in the event no employment contract is executed. If you wish to have them deleted earlier, please send an e-mail with your request to jobs@basilea.com.
Business partners / service providers
Basilea is processing personal data of its business partners and/or their employees in connection with the preparation, entering into and the administration of the contracts with them. This personal data includes identification and contact details (academic title, name, address, telephone number and email address), financial information (bank account details, payment data), employment details (employer, job title, education and career), data related to registration as a self-employed service provider with social security agencies and/or tax authorities, and other personal data voluntarily provided to Basilea by the business partners.

We are present on social media and platforms in order to communicate with interested parties and users of such platforms and to inform them about the company. When accessing the respective media and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing notices/policies and guidelines of the respective operators apply.
Your rights related to your personal data
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning your person are being processed, to request information on the processing of your personal data, and a copy of such personal data. Deletion of data and period of data storage
The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage does not apply anymore.
